The problem

Quick to launch, slow to sell.

  1. The problem

Shopify got you online fast, but the theme looks like everyone else's and the apps keep piling up.

  2. How it feels

Each fix is another app and another subscription, and buyers still leave at checkout.

  3. Why it matters

Your brand deserves a Shopify online store built around how your buyers shop.

Questions people ask

What does a Shopify agency in Qatar do?

A Shopify agency designs, builds and improves online stores on Shopify. ABECODS, a founder-led e-commerce agency in Doha, builds custom Shopify themes, sets up local payment providers and Arabic and English online stores, adds AI tools such as AIVA product visuals and VTO virtual try-on, and trains your team to run the online store after launch.

Is Shopify Payments available in Qatar?

No. Shopify's supported-countries page lists the United Arab Emirates as its only Middle East country (checked October 2026). ABECODS recommends local payment providers such as SkipCash and Tap Payments and sets the integration up in your Shopify online store; the provider account, fees and approval are between you and the provider.

Does Shopify charge extra when you use a local payment provider?

Yes. Shopify adds a fee when an online store uses a third-party provider instead of Shopify Payments. Its pricing page lists 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus (October 2026; check the current page). ABECODS includes it when planning your running costs.

Can my Shopify online store be in Arabic and English?

Yes. ABECODS builds Arabic and English Shopify online stores, including right-to-left layouts, according to what your project requires.

Can you move our online store to Shopify?

Yes. Products, customers and orders can be moved to Shopify. Old addresses are redirected to the new pages, so existing links keep working.

How long does a Shopify build take?

It depends on the scope, and your ABECODS proposal states the timeline before work begins. A typical project runs four to six weeks.

Who owns the online store?

You do. You own the Shopify online store, its analytics and ad accounts. ABECODS works inside them with shared access and trains your team on the admin.
